ADK archiving PM_ORDER

Hello experts,

we are archiving the archiving object PM_ORDER.

The process write in the transaction sara has the posibility to create a historical order.

For that reason, we don't need that historical orders. So we just disable this function.

After the process delete in transaction sara there are still trunks of the PM_ORDER-records in the system.

They can be displayed via IW63. The IW33 is forwarded to IW63. The PM-Order-number stays the same.

Is it possible to delete the records within the trunk-files.

Thanks and best regards.

Hi,

In the write variant for archiving object PM_ORDER, when you do not select option "Generate historical order" then all the data is deleted from SAP tables (like for instance AUFK).

What you're seeing through transaction IW63 is the indexes information that SAP saves into the archive infostructure for archiving object PM_ORDER. If you want to delete that data you'll have to go to transaction SARJ, select the appropriate archive infostructure, click on Environment --> Fill Structure and then select the archiving session and click on "Delete Structures". This will delete the index information from the archiving infostructure and you won't be able to see it from IW63 anymore.

Hope this helps.
