Listing of compatible PDAs for use with Netweaver Mobile 7.1

Is there a list of compatible and/or recommended PDA devices that can be used with Netweaver Mobile 7.1?

Hi Anthony,

with MI7.1 the strategy has changed. Up to that version SAP made a recommendation in PAM to show the necessary Windows mobile type and the expected date a version would be supported. With Mi7.1 they realized, that it is nearly impossible to support this list any further. This is because we have different resolutions, memory, hardware support,....

So they went the other way and said, device vendors can certify their devices for usage with MI7.1. We have several devices with certification in use at clients, but most of them are industrial devices, some with EX certification.

If you are interested in a consumer device usage, please refer to PAM for mobile 7.0 - same recommendations can betaken for Mi7.1 to get an overview. But it should not be taken as a 100% recommendation, until you have not tested it or asked the vendor for a certification.
