Issue in ESS roles assigning to portal user.

Hi,

I created a R/3 user ESS_Test assigned the perner and mainained communication everything.

in r/3 assigned roles:

SAP_BC_ENDUSER

ZG:COMMON_TCODE_01

ZSAP_RFC

ZZ:ALL:SAP_ALL

In portal I did not assign any roles to this user.

But when I login with ESS_Test user the ESS/MSS screens are displaying.I am nt assigned any roles to that user.How these ESS and MSS diaplying am not understand.

Please help me in the same.

Are any of the above composite roles...??

Also are you sure that this is a portal and not an external ITS?

Either you should have assigned SAP_ALL / What the need of these roles?

Hi,

Yes,this issue was solved.

Problem: in the built in group has assigned the ess/mss roles for that with out assigning the roles in portal side the user ca accessing the ess/mss screens.

Now I deleted i nthe bult in group and giving individual based on the user.
