NWBC client session existing for a long time

Dear All,

In our customer end , they are using the Netweaber Business client for accessing the SAP system using https connections. Frequently, We are getting a call by stating that the SAP sessions are live for a long time.

I am aware of that we can reduce the gui time by mentioning the parameter, rdisp/wp_runtime, but I am not sure about the if there is any NWBC parameter has to be maintained.

I am not sure, which parameter do i need to maintain for to termiante the sessions.

The below is the current value for the ICM parameters - HTTPS

HTTPS 8443 Clients.local.local 30 60

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Dear Vijay,

Have you tried setting parameter rdisp/gui_auto_logout and rdisp/plugin_auto_logout? These are the only parameters to close the sessions after a period of time. There is no specific parameter for NWBC.

You are right and there are no separate parameters. I have changed the value of this parameter rdisp/plugin_auto_logout and its done a real trick for me
