Installing ojdbc14.jar on PI7.1

Hi,

We are doing the process of updating ojdbc14.jar on PI7.1. While launching JSPM for installing the said driver the activity doesn't proceed further and it gets hanged without starting the UI. The OS version is AIX 5.3 with TL 4. The error encountred is as follows from the error log file who's path is as :-

Path /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS00/j2ee/JSPM/log/log_2010_08_09_06_22_44

Waiting for SDT SErver to Connect.........

The info you ahve asked is as follows:

1. java -version

java version "1.4.2"

Hi,

As you are using NW 7.1, i will suggest to install latest JDK. i.e 1.5

As suggested by you we have installed Java5. But still the problem persists. The details configuration of the PI7.1 server is as follows:

INSTALLED PI 7.1 on operating system Aix 5.3

Component version : SAP EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1
