Change Object Class in WBS

Dear Gurus,

My client has copied the project and now he is trying to change the object class Overhead to Production.

But the system is not allowing to change the object class from Overhead to Production as the field is gradeout.

please suggest.

If the cost has been posted to the WBS Element, the you will not able to change it. But if you have not posted any cost, then check the field settings(OPUK) for the object class, whether it is in display mode or not.

Cost is not posted for the WBS element and also checked (OPUK) object class is in Input mode.

May be it might have displayed for a particular project profile. In OPUK, click "influences", in that screen check whether object class been set for display for any other influencing field.
