Work schedule Rule

hi

For Work schedule Rule,

Shift 1: 6 days working 4 days holiday , 6x4, 6x4 ....

Shift 2: 5 days working 2 days holiday, 5x2 , 5x2, .....

This is the shift pattern

But when Ramzan comes those who follow fasting will get 2 hrs deduction in work.

How we manage this in sap.?

Can we avoid this new shift so that is there any problem in negative time.?

1)Create a new daily work schedule with reduced work hours

2)create new period work schedule with the newly created daily work schedule (with reduced Hours)

3)create a new rule

4)generate a new work schedule

do all the necessary settings that have to be maintained for a new work schedule

Go to pa30 and copy the 0007 infotype and give the particular work schedule that newly created ( and generated ) in the place of old work schedule.Don"t change or create*. Give the start of the ramadan date as the start date and end date as the last date of ramadan month.

Rex,

We can manage this in SAP? Yes we can.

Create a DWS with 2 hrs less and replace it with the current DWS in your PWS and generate WS.

For the month of Ramazan, you can either create a new record for the whole month of Ramzan or else you can do it in Substitution IT ( 2003).

If you have quota accrual and if that accrual depends on the no of hours worked in a day then you might have to make some adjustments but if quota is dependent on no of days present then it shouldn't make a difference.

hope this helps

Hi,

Yes it can be done first, identify all the employees who follow the fasting during ramzan. Define DWS with Variants and Write DWS Variant Rule for Variants.
