Dear Friends,

We have installed SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1 and trying to integrate/configure the SAP ECC 6.0 with the XI server.

On SAP ECC .60, we have configured the following successfully:

>>>> SXMB_ADM --> Integration Engine Configuration --> Application System --> dest://PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER

>>>> RFC Destination created: PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER (TYPE G)

>>>> RFC Destination created: SAP_PROXY_ESR (TYPE G)

>>>> RZ70 & SLD_UC, SLD_NUC

>>>> SLDCHECK

The following 2 programs executed successfully:

SPROX_CHECK_HTTP_COMMUNICATION

SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS

The following programs are throwing errors:

>>>> SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION

ERROR --> Enterprise Services Builder data not understood

>>>> SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE

ERROR --> Requested Repository is down.

Could not establish connection to ES Repository using "SAP_PROXY_ESR ": Bad Request:400

Do you know on how to fix the above 2 issues...

Thank you,

Nikee

Nikee,

The URL which is getting formed by your application server to connect PI server is not proper. try to debug the program that forms the URL and see what string it is building to reach your PI. Also check the parameters in Exchange profile..

Dear Friends,

SAP PI 7.1 server is up and running.

The SAPSLDAPI & LCRSAPRFC RFC destinations on PI are working fine.

On the ECC 6.0 server,

> PI_INTEGRATIONSERVER is working fine and here is the RFC connection test results:

Status HTTP Response 500

Status Text Empty HTTP request received

Duration Test Call 17 ms

> SAP_PROXY_ESR is working fine and here is the RFC connection test results:

Status HTTP Response 400

Status Text Bad Request

Duration Test Call 54 ms

Is there a place where we need to configure ESR on ECC 6.0.

Than kyou,

Nikee

In your post i see the below bad request

Status Text Bad Request

The result should be

Status HTTP Response 200

Status Text OK

Duration Test Call 54 ms
