Is there a way to specify a "variable" name for the working directory name in dc20? By that I mean I would like to use something like "C:\document and settings\USERNAME" where USERNAME = the currently logged in user.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi Tom,
Only you need to select data carrier type as PC and the system will automatically maintain the logs in sapdirwork directory of each system. No need to define another way. All the log files copy is saved in front end system of each user.
I hope this will resolve the query.

Hi,
In dc20 if you define data carrier type = PC and leave the path as blank then the files are copied to current users temp directory i.e the user which is logged into the windows system ->
C:\DOCUME1\sapdms\LOCALS1\Temp\
to overwrite this i guess you have to implement badi method DOCUMENT_STORAGE01~before_physical_checkout & update the parameter filep.
