Validity Period of BOMs

Hi Friends,

Can we have different effectivities for BOMs in assigned plants for change done in Group BOM with some other effectivity ?

Issue has been explained as below >

Using Group BOM feature, I have created a group BOM with a given validity period.now I have done plant assignments using tcode CS07. now I added few more components to Group BOM with a given validity period (effectivity). but I want to have different validity periods (effectity) for same change which will reflect in all the assigned plants. Is it possible to acheive this ?

Hi,

You can assign alternate date in change master to plant objects (material bom) accomplish your requirements. All changes carried out using the change number will be effective from alternate date assigned.
