Hi Andrea,

You need to have SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR role for the concerned user ID to access BBPMAININT (Manage Business Partners).

Strategic purchaser role only helps in doing strategic procurement.

Let us know in case of any further clarifications.

Hi Andrea,

In PFCG txn, display that role and under the Menu tab check for all the transactions assigned to that role and under user tab you can check for the list of users assigned to that role.

If user has got SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR role then please check Authorization data by clicking on 'Display Authorization Data' icon under Authorizations tab.

In case you still got any issues then please take the help of BASIS / SECURITY guy in your project to check for the authorizations to concerned user.

Teja

Hello Andrea,

Add SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR role to user position's attribute ROLE in PPOMA_BBP transaction.

Regards.

Laurent.

Note 921889 - BBPMAINEXT: Unnecessary query for the ROLE attribute

If an external business partner (bidder/vendor) is logged on to your system and wants to maintain or change his or her own data, the logged on user receives the following error message:

Error reading roles (Not maintained/no authorization?)

This is message 255 from the BBP_BUPA message class.

It is not possible to continue maintaining the data.
