Images and PDF in SRM-MDM-Catalog 3.0

I have loaded Images and PDF in the MDM using MDM Data Manager.

When I use Data Manager --> Object --> View PDF. I am able to see the PDF completely.

Now I can also see the image and PDF in the GUI of SRM-MDM Catalog.But only thumbnails.

I wanted to see the entire PDF document in the UI, How can I do that?

I wonder if the Catalog UI supports the functionality to see the entire PDF document

Please share your experience.

Hi Sudha.

PDF's are supported by SRM-MDM Catalog as a hyperlinks.

Try attaching the PDF as a hyperlink for a record.

- Select a record-> Naviagate to Hyperlink Qualified Lookup->Add a new entry ->Select type as Link->Provide the PDF URL and other details->Save the record.

you can also do a mass upload of the PDF to a repository.

Now configure the hyperlink column to the UI and launch the catalog and check, you will find the link of the PDF where you can

open it by clicking the hyperlink. Let me know if you face any issues.

Hi Bala,

in URL i updated path of my PDF and it gave a dump. Any thing specific in URL we need to update
