Manufacturing plan for multi-Receipts products into PPM for SNP and PPDS

Hello,

I defined PPM with multiple "Receipts" PF1and PF2 (from ERP BOM for main product PF1 and co-product PF2).

There is sales demands for PF1 and PF2

Is what APO SNP and/or PPDS Plannings (and witch one heuristics and/or optmizer) can take into account the requests on the 2 PF (PF1 and PF2) products and for example calculate the target quantity of manufacturing order according to the greatest request between PF1 and PF2 ?

Thanks

In PP/DS there is a heuristic for the special requirement of BOMs with co-products.

Heuristic SAP_PP_017 Plan Standard Lots for Co-Products

This heuristic will look for the greater requirement of the outputs of your PPM and adjsut the orders accordingly.

you can also assign a planning package to the product masters of your co-products.

Definition: planning package

Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (SCM-APO-PPS)

Group of location products that must always be planned together in the procurement planning run with an MRP heuristic.

Products can often not be planned independently of each other. This could occur in the following cases:

Products produced together in one process (manufacture of co-products)

Products procured from the same supplier

Products processed on the same resource

You group such products together in a planning package.
