Hi,

Your system is dual stack or single stack ? EP is separate or on same system ?

Is system is up or not ?

Please provide logs to help you.

Thanks

Sunny

the installation is a dual stack, the EP is running on the same host, profile parameters are OK.

etc/hosts has the right settings.

the system is up and running, i can log into the ABAP system.

what logs are you referring to, sm21 is clean, st22 is clean, tx: smicm logs are clean.

Thanks

Hi,

Try with http://<ip address>:5<instance number>00.

Also, check in JCMON whether java is up or not by following command:

jcmon pf=<path to instance profile> And after that press 20. Check all process are in running state or not.

Thanks

Sunny

Try with http://<ip address>:5<instance number>00.

Remember that you need to use the fqdn when using the java engine

so, http://<host.fqdn>:5<instance number>00

It looks like that your java is not working. Could you please paste here dev_server0 and std_server0 logs ?

Thanks

Along with dev_server0 and std_server0 , Please also post the logs of defaulttrace of dispatcher & server0( /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGSxx/j2ee/cluster/dispatcher/log/defaultTrace & /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGSxx/j2ee/cluster/server0/log/defaultTrace).

Hi,

Check the status first in SAP MMC you can access it with the below url:

http://<server fqdn>:5xx13

Check if you java server process or dispatcher is up and running else check the std_server0 or std_dispatcher files

along with developer trace files and post them here if required.

Regards,

Vamshi.

Hi,

Can you confirm whether it is ABAP+JAVA or JAVA only system.

As per your logs it seems it is ABAP+JAVA system.

+[Thr 12309] * LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode+ +[Thr 12309] * ERROR connection to partner 'MLQSAP:sapgw00' broken+ +[Thr 12309] *+ +* TIME Thu Jul 1 10:29:47 2010+ +[Thr 12309] * RELEASE 700+ +[Thr 12309] * COMPONENT NI (network interface)+

it seems your abap stack is down so your java stack is not able to lisen abap gateway port so java stack is also getting stopped.

Thanks,

Anil

Hello Anil,

Many thanks for the infou2026.

The JAVA and ABAP stack are on the same boxu2026..

The JAVA and ABAP stack should be up and running because the command u201Cstartsapu201D executed completely without any warming or failure.

How does one resolve this issue?

Can one recreate the port or process?

Tolu

Hi.

Check whether you are able to access the abap stack without any problem.

Thanks

Hello Anil,

Yes I can work on the ABAP stack without any issues.

I can not log in or work on the JAVA stack.
