SAP log

Dear All,

We are using Windows 2003 Server. Today my SAP application server went down.

After that we are started manually from from MMC. Where i Can found log & which log i get the information.

So, that i can found what is the issue & why it went down.

Please help on this.

If it was a SAP related issue you'll find the errors in the old dev, ms, dev_disp or dev_w0 (depending on what happened), but if the system went down due to OS issues (not only issues but maintainance, patching...etc) you can check the event viewer.

Check the .old logs in the work directory.. You could also check the event monitor in Windows to check if something went wrong at that particular time..
