RUN_APPLICATION_MIGRATION phase err migration sap.com/com.sap.xi.repository

During the attempted upgrade of our XI 3.0 system to PI 7.11 it failed

during the RUN_APPLICATION_MIGRATION phase of the java stack with the following error:

RUN_APPLICATION_MIGRATION Phase "Error while executing migration of the

following application(s) sap.com/com.sap.xi.repository."

I have tried SAP Note 1339894 error still remains

I have tried SAP Note 1238561 and upgraded sw componnent SAPXIESR to later patch error still remains.

I have tried SAP Note 1235247 and changed open cursors to max value error still remains

I have followed SAP Note 1345600 and confirmed there are no open changelists or collisions or db inconsistencies.

I'm stuck at this phase and unable to proceed.

Hello Neil,

the solution for this problem is the following:

1) Start the config tool

2) Switch to the configuration editor mode(with the help of an icon present above the tree structure)

3) Change the mode to edit mode

4) Navigate through the tree configuration -> rprof -> dest

select the entry stdobj and delte the entry.

5) Restart the engine in the safe mode

6) Restart the upgrade.

Is this problem resolved with this solution? I have same issue while upgrading to PI 7.1 EHP1. It is failed in downtime phase.

HI,

I have an issue similar to described in this message and tried the steps described here. In ../j2ee/cluster/server0/log I see "snapshot too old" errors when running the upgrade.
