Hi Gurus,
SAP has asked us to delete following parameters:
- vmcj/option/gc/sharedWaterMark
- vmcj/option/percentageSharedClasses
- vmcj/option/percentageCopyOnlySC
I DO NOT see any of the above mentioned parameters in any of the profiles, but when I use report "RSPFPAR" in Thx. SE38 it shows me parameters with current values.
My question is as follow:
1. Where (in which profile) I can find the parameters, if NOT where are they comming from.
2. If they are NOT in any of the profiles, how can I remove them.
Please advise
Thanks in advance for your professional help.

1) Go T-Code : RZ10
2) Select u201CInstance profileu201D and select Change Option
3) With the help of Ctrl+F Find parameters which you want to Delete
4) Then In Menu Bar There is under Parameter Menu Delete option available.
5) After Delete Click on Save and Activate the Profile.

Hi,
SAP has asked you to delete some parameters which means that SAP wants you to have the default values of these parameters. If they are not defined in all your profile files (seen from RZ10), you already have the default values.
These are the default values that you see from RSPFPAR.
So I think that you don't have anything to do !

Because there is not ! The previous answer is completely out of topic...
I already gave the answer : Deleting profile parameters means that there are no more in the profile files (or RZ10) but it means also that they still exist with their default value. One can see them from RZ11 or RSPARAM.
So "deleting" a profile parameter means : get back to the default value.

Hi,
I believe you'll have to execute RZ10 and check the default profile and instance profile. The notes 1020539 & 1170313 explain in details about the correct configuration of the vm parameters.
hope that helps!

Snehal
