SAP Service couldn't start

Hi all expert,

when I start SAP Service by execute 'sapstartsrv.exe' program,

it appears the error ' The local computer's service SAP<SID>_00 started but then stoped. some services stop automatic, if they do nothing, for exmple 'performance and warning' services'.

本地计算机上的SAP<SID>_00服务启动后又停止了。一些服务自动停止，如果他们没有什么可做的，例如u2018性能日志和警报u2019服务。

how to fix this issue ?

Hi,

Install the Microsoft Security Patch as per the [note|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1375494] and then start your sap instance.

If the service is stopping without warning check the event viewer for errors.

start->run>eventvwr.msc,

Then select application, look for source, which would be your service name, there you can find the error.

Thanks, I do it by what you said, and the error as below:

"The description of event ID(0) couldn't be found . There isn't the neccesary register informatin file to display the information

from remote computer. Initialization failed. Service not started. [ntservmain.cpp 1002]."

How to fix it ?

Hi

Have you tried starting the service manually from Command Prompt, sometimes it gives a better clue.

Have a look at the service from run->services.msc under properties, you will find the path and parameter.
