Multi Oracle installation on MSCS

We would like to install the following SAP products on a cluster mscs

with two nodes:

ECC 6.0 (only ABAP) / Oracle 10.2.0.2

BI 7.00 (ABAP+JAVA) / Oracle 10.2.0.4

according to the fact that the two system has to be migrated on a new

hardware from win200 32-bit to win2003 x64 and to have a separate

management of the two database we would like to install the same Oracle

10.2 version on the two different drivers:

1. First database version: 10.2.0.2 E:\oracle\PRD

2. Second database version: 10.2.0.4 G:\oracle\BWP

The two database have a different patchs level.

Is it possible to make that installation?

This is the response of SAP:

*******************************

for such a scenario with two SAP instances and Oracle instances, only

one oracle failsafe server is installed and handles both instances.

Different Oracle Versions such as 10.2.0.2 and 10.2.0.4 are allowed,

since each database instances has its own oracle_home to use, but

oracle failsafe is installed only once, as described in the

mentioned installation guide.

I have seen with multi oracle with same version on single host also with uses different port 1527 / 1528 and different services name lsnrctl or <sid>lsnrctl or even with single service with multiple db. I think it has to be ok thus you only have the interim pathset differences i.e 10.x.0.2 / 4
