Purchase Requisition Closed Indicator not Transferred to SRM

Dear experts,

We are investigating the functionality to close a PR in the classic scenario.

Upon approval of a shopping cart, the purchase requisition is automatically created in SAP. When the purchase requisition line items are manually closed by setting the "Closed" indicator at the line item level without creating a Purchase Order, the closed status is not automatically displayed in SRM - SC status.

We are concerning why the field "Close PR" EBAKZ is not passed in the SRM system in any way.

It seems it's a standard system behavior.

But the end user should be informed in a way (whatever it is), that the Shopping Cart is "closed" or is not going to have a PO.

Is there any work around or suggestion to solve the issue?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi Xu

REQUESTER can delete the Purchase request FROM HIS/HER SIDE

OR

BUYER can COMPLETE the shopping cart item in the cockpit.

When you complete a requirement which was created from an external requirement in the Sourcing Cockpit, the requisition in the backend system is closed.

why ARE TRYING TO CLOSE the in different way.
