Hi,

Whenever a user in our environment access a document and modifies it and tries to checks it in the repository,she is unable to do so. However, if we try 4-5 times it happens occasionally. This should not be the case.We get error 26136. We have defined all storage locations,data carriers correctly. What could be the reason for this behavior?

The reason is a repeatition of file path name in the original filename. This is a known issue and due to a bug if you use a data carrier.

To overcome this behavior and avoid such issues in the future implement the SAP notes 1014574 and 1319207 and then try the operation again.
