Business Partner (BP) not updated correctly from external system

Hello,

We are finding that existing BP records are not updated correctly in Solution Manager system. This only occurs for female BP records where the maiden surname and email address has been changed to reflect their new marital status. After running BP_GEN to update the BPs from the managed system those BP records are not updated accordingly because the External Identifier has not been changed.

Is there a way in which the surname and email address fields can also be checked? In the meantime we have to manually update these record which are usually discovered due to failed email notifications.

Please advise.

Did you ever find a solution for this?

I now also noticed this issue. BP_GEN does update telephone nr, e-mail address and full name from the user master data, but apparently not:

- Title

- First Name

- Last Name

- Mobile phone

- Fax

- Standard Address (when user gets assigned to another company in SU01)

transaction BP_USER_GEN does a bit better though, that one does update the title, first name, last name, mobile phone and fax. But still not the address data.
