you can open and edit via notepad

or altova XML spy

If you are looking for an XML Editor you can find many xml editors,which you can freely download from net like Altova XMLSpy.

if you want to create an XML / XSD, then you can always use XML SPY.

For simple XMl strcutures, you can use the graphical editor in XI used for creating the datatype itself.

We are trying to evaluate an XML editor. So wanted to check the one which is popular in the SAP community especially with XI community.

I guess it is XML SPY but would still like an opinion from you.
