A change request was created to test the charm activation in our envoirnment using create_notif
when the change manager opens the message using crm_dno_monitor using tranaction type SDCR
In the change request if we go to fast entry it shows the status to be approved
when i check the status it gives me the 4 more options as rejected , authorized, implemented and confirmed but they all the grey out and I cannot select any of them .
how can I makw them activated?
Thanks
Hi
unlike service desk you do not change status of SDCR, or SDMJ or SDHF by changing status field. You ll have to launch action from the actionbox and this is what will change your status. Actionbox is like the button that use in service desk to send message to sap
hope this helps

Hi,
Before you start configuring ChaRM go through this tutors to understand how ChaRM Works by running a full cycle from the beginning.

Raghu,
These links were really good and helped me to understand the Charm functionality
Now after have done the configuration for this when I create the change request and loging as a change manager I don't get the options to approve/ reject in the actions list
I did use acton profile as SDCR .
How is a maint. cycle linked to Change requests?
If any body has a precice document then please try to provide the link.
