Budget error while creating PO

Dear All,

We need your help for this budget error issue .

Please find our case:

Total released budget of WBS - 2.5 crore

Commitment amount - 2.4 crore ( PO - 1.7 crore + PR- .7 crore)

Remaining order plan- 0.1 crore

Assigned budget - 2.5 core

We are getting budget error while creating PO against a purchase requistion , although there is sufficient commitment amount for that purchase requisition) in the WBS .

Even if we consider remaining order plan value as blocked budget , but still there is suffiecient budget in the form of commitment values of Purchase requistion , which should be available for creating PO against them.

We also tried to remove this Rem . order plan , but still in the budget report we get the same rem. order plan value.

Kindly suggest .

Kindly check Tolerance limit for respective Controlling area.Also check the network type PS02 assigned in Network Profile.

Hi,

Please check whether Availability control is on Overall Release or Annual Release.

Also check the Tolerance Limit settings maintained for the Budget profile you are using.

Check whether the PR & PO values are same, you can get budget error if PO value is more than PR value.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for the answer.

As suggested by you , we found that the PO values are more than the PR values in some some cases , which we suppose is resulting into budget exceed error.

I will check & confirm .
