I plan to use easdms to view documents from both a non-unicode system and a unicode system. Do I just install one version (unicode) to access all systems or do I need to install both versions ?
Thanks,
hi,
SAP does not recommend using the conflicting version of eDMS with backend. You will get warning when you login to a different system.
However, i guess Unicode easyDMS should be installed. This is much safer while connecting to a non unicode backend compared to having non unicode easDMS connecting to Unicode backend.
