Hi,

Additionally, there are no specific pre-requisites for the tool itself but there are for the Solution Documentation Workcenter as below:

• WebDynpro services have been activated

• Installation of the latest version of SAP Solution Tools Plug-In (ST-PI) for both SAP Solution Manager and the satellite system (i.e., any other system that is to be managed or connected with SAP Solution Manager)

• Satellite systems must be SAP R/3 4.6C or higher

• All the Remote Function Call (RFC) connections between SAP Solution Manager and the satellite systems must be in working condition

• An EarlyWatch Alert report needs to be configured or running for the satellite systems. All satellite systems that use Solution Documentation Assistant to generate reports must send their EarlyWatch Alert reports to SAP Solution Manager.

• EarlyWatch Alert must send at least one monthu2019s data before the first analysis run. The Solution Documentation Assistant Analysis needs EarlyWatch Alert data as a pre-requisite.

• The system landscape, which is configured in transaction SMSY of SAP Solution Manager, must be updated for the satellite systems

• Work Centers are already configured and running in SAP Solution Manager

• Solution Documentation Assistant comes with a Work Center, but the minimum Service Pack Level for component ST (SAP Solution Manager Tool) required for using Solution Documentation Assistant is 16.

• The user requires the correct authorisations to access the Solution Documentation Assistant Workcenter

1) The Solution Documentation Assistant is a new approach to analyze live customer systems automatically, providing a full-scale system usage report and customer core business process models in SAP Solution Manager. The SDA is available via Work Center "Solution Documentation Assistant".

Business Process structures are created in SAP Solution Manager via an automatic mapping against existing process structures in SAP Solution Manager projects (standard processes from the Business Process Repository or processes built by customer) and as of EhP2 in SAP Solution Manager Solutions. SDA also enables a revision of Test Plan Execution.

2) The Solution Documentation Assistant processes data that are transferred with the EarlyWatch Alerts running for the Managed Systems concerned. Before creating an Analysis Project please make sure, that Workload Data of 1 month for a Managed System is available (generally 4 EWA Service Sessions; 2 EWA Sessions may also be adequate, but the Analysis Results are less accurate).
