WIP and parallel sequences

Dear Experts,

we would like to have a simple process for frontend and backend

production (three frontend POs and one Backend PO in Standard)

The idea was on the one hand direct production.

Advantage: WIP is possible; connection of defined production orders

Disadvantage: a lot of lot paper for frontend and backend production

On the other hand: parallel sequences

Advantage: only one lot paper one lot paper for frontend and backend

production because it is only one prod order

Disadvantage: NO WIP is possible

But WIP is a MUST.

Now the question:

is there a possibility in SAP for a process: only one lot paper for

frontend and backend production and WIP - like parallel sequences with

WIP?
