Enhancement of V.23 T Code

Hi,

The V.23 Tcode is used to view SO that are blocked for Billing, I want to add an Input Parameter "Material" in the same, so as to view all the SO created for that Material and that has been blocked for Billing .

How do i do the same? Can I use VA05 to combine the Functionality of V.23 for the above.

Any User Exit or BADI for the same.

Hello Binayak;

The RVAUFSPE report (transaction V.23) is actually outdated and some

changes occured during the new system developments.

As of Release 4.6A, the "Sales Orders / Contracts Blocked for Delivery"

report (RVSPERAU) and the "Release Sales Orders for Billing" report

(RVAUFSPE) have been replaced with the following new reports:

- SD Documents Blocked for Delivery (SDLIEFSPE) >> transaction VA14L

- SD Documents Blocked for Billing (SDFAKSPE) >> transaction V23

You can find both these reports in the Sales and Distribution menu by

going to Sales and distribution > Sales > Info system > Report

selection > Worklists.

The old reports are still available but will eventually be deleted in

future releases.

The reason behind changing the reports is because both the old reports

(RVSPERAU and RVAUFSPE) could only display sales documents that had been

blocked at header level. Sales documents blocked at item and schedule

line level, and therefore also not relevant for delivery or billing,

were not displayed by these reports.

To enable you to select these documents too, the status tables in SD

have been given new fields that display the blocking status

(delivery/billing document/user status). The new reports (SDLIEFSPE and

SDFAKSPE) can evaluate these new status fields.

If you want to use the new reports for sales documents already in the

system, you must update the new status fields before you use the report

for the first time. You can do this with the selection program SDSPESTA.

If you are using a new installation of an SAP system, you do not need

to execute this program.

As next point since Release 5.00 all list in SAP system was moved to the

new SAP list viewer. The SAP List Viewer (ALV) is used to output many

other reports and lists As a result, the layout and usability of these

reports is standardized, improved and usable by disabled person.

This changed on the list view was gone because of legal requirements

from US and EU government.

So also the old report RVAUFSPE (TA V.23) that is still available but

will not longer maintain by SAP please have a look at note 747469.

Since Release 5.00 when you use the selection option 'with safety check'

by the old TA V.23 at first the list with sales documents will be

displayed and to delete the billing block the button in the menu line

should be pushed.

So can i use V23 for viewing Sales Order that has been blocked for Billing by selecting Articles (Service Articles) . I dont see the option of choosing Articles as an Input in that report.
