file to file time out error

Hi,

I have many file to file scnerios in my SAP system. I have been getting this error since morning. Earlier it used to work absolutely fine.

2010-08-02 14:36:26 Success Send text file "SAPLGCINPPFSUMM20100802143334.TXT" from FTP server "172.17.112.61:\saplgc_IN\OUTBND", size 1361845 bytes with QoS EO

2010-08-02 14:36:26 Success Application attempting to send an XI message asynchronously using connection AFW.

2010-08-02 14:36:26 Success Trying to put the message into the send queue.

2010-08-02 14:36:27 Success Message successfully put into the queue.

2010-08-02 14:36:27 Success The application sent the message asynchronously using connection AFW. Returning to application.

2010-08-02 14:36:27 Success The message was successfully retrieved from the send queue.

2010-08-02 14:36:27 Success File "SAPLGCINPPFSUMM20100802143334.TXT" successfully archived on FTP server "172.17.112.61" as "\saplgc_send_IN\OUTBND/SAPLGCINPPFSUMM20100802143334.TXT"

2010-08-02 14:36:27 Success The message status set to DLNG.

2010-08-02 14:37:29 Error Transmitting the message to endpoint http://tcsxiprd:8020/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 500 : Timeout. 2010-08-02 14:37:29 Success The asynchronous message was successfully scheduled to be delivered at Mon Aug 02 14:42:29 IST 2010.

In the end I got this error

2010-08-02 14:55:36 Error The message status set to NDLV.

Could you please tell me wht possibly has gone wrong because it a production issue and I have to get it fixed asap.

First check that PI database is not full (like mentioned above).

Else, maybe everything is OK in PI. Check that FTP server was not changed over weekend or crashed and did not come up properly.

there can be multiple things;

1. increase the icm/keep_alive_timeout - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/0b/1c7e7abbc311d5993a00508b6b8b11/content.htm

2. Check in DB02 tcode - Is your server tablespace close to 100? if so you will need to delete old messages in PI
