Error when installing NW07 EHP1 SR1 on AIX6.1 -oracle

Hi,

I am trying to install NW07 EHP1 SR1 AS JAVA on AIX 6.1 with oracle, In the 33 of 43 phase of the installation i am getting the below errors.

Hello,

From the excerpt you've pasted of sapinst.log, it clearly shows that sapinst is setting the SDM in standalone mode.

Note the line:

Aug 2, 2010 6:21:56 PM Info: SDM operation mode successfully set to: Standalone

Once the SDM is set in standalone mode, you do not look at the dev_sdm, jvm_sdm files in work directory.

What error exactly are you getting the installation? Because, I don't see any errors as such in the excerpt you pasted.

If you are getting errors during deployment in above sapinst phase, you need to take a look at the latest sdmlog*.log in the SDM\program\log directory.

Please paste the relevant error portion here for that log file.

Hello,

The error says the JControl sent the shutdown signal to the SDM. At the jvm_sdm.out log there is no further relevant information. In this case you have to check the dev_jcontrol, dev_sdm and std_sdm in order to collect further details.

In the meantime, ensure you don't have any other SDM process started, like the SDM Gui, JSPM, etc.

Finally, you may also put the SDM in standalone mode manually and then try to restart it and check whether you face any issue.

I am puzzled ,when start sdm in Integrated mode with manual,the sdm started successful,

and then Restart the installation,the jcontrol will shutdown the sdm
