CTS+ scenario validation

Hi,

Is it possible to implement CTS+ for scenario:

Managing DC SolMan 701, linked with other two DCs -- R3 620 and XI 711. I want to enable STMS to use java stacks on satellite systems -- EP 700 (ABAP + JAVA) which is in domain with R3 620 DC, and XI 711 (ABAP + JAVA) which is also a DC, the same which I mentioned before.

Hi,

I think your question has two apects

1. How to use CTS+ from one central Solution Manager for different Domains

2. Availability of CTS+

For 1: you could use domain links to connect different Domains into Solution manager. Some details are availbel in the [best practice guide on SDN |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10456aac-44f7-2a10-1fbe-8b7bcd7bcd58]in chapter 4 'Landcsape Scenarios'

For 2:

For the Domain Controller / Communication System: CTS+ is first availabe with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SP 12 and we strongly recommend to start with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SP 14 at least

for the Portal: SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SP 14 is recommended as well to have the full functionality of close coupling available.

So your Domain Controller on 6.20 is not able to support portal transports
