Please refer : Note 976054 - Availability of EWA for Non ABAP components

> If we do the required configuration what data can be analysis in EWA. for Java systems?

The important KPIs that you can get for Java component are:

􀂄 Garbage Collection Time

􀂄 Usage of Effective Old Space

􀂄 Fraction of Full Garbage Collections

􀂄 Allocation Rate

􀂄 Promotion Rate

􀂄 Top WebDynpro Applications

􀂄 Accumulated Time

􀂄 Top JCO Calls

􀂄 Response Time of JCO Calls

􀂄 Top SQL Selects

􀂄 Response Time of SQL Selects

􀂄 Accumulated Time

􀂄 Hourly User Distribution

􀂄 Most frequently visited iViews

􀂄 Most frequently visited pages

􀂄 Visits

􀂄 Requests

􀂄 Top iViews

􀂄 Response Time of top iViews

􀂄 Accumulated Time

Hi Rajeev

This was already working for me but it suddenly stopped generating analysis for the Java.?

How to get to the root cause and restore EWA so it reports Java performance analysis data on regular basis.

Neni

for work center,

tcde : solman_workcenter. for this assign role SAP_SMWORK_DIA to user so that Root Cause Analysis tab will apear in workcenter

or

frm sp18 onwards,

even if you try http://<hostname>:port/smd it will take you to workcenter.

In workcenter > Root Cause Analysis Tab> Common tasks--> Setup and check --> Diagnostic setup

Hi,

To be able to generate EWA for JAVA systems you have to install the solution manager diagnostics. This is due to the fact that ABAP and JAVA systems have different data collectors, so the solution manager diagnostics will install some collectors which are specific for JAVA systems. The information then will be collected in each of your JAVA systems and assessed by your solution manager.

Besides note 976054 mentioned by our friend, you can also check notes 1010428 and 1274287 which describe the requirements and component information for solution manager diagnostics.

Hope this helps.

Daniel.
