Hi all.
We are setting up PPM (cProjects + RPM) in an IDES system.
SP09 have been installed in backend and for the portal UI. The showcase roles (for cProjects and RPM) are attached to the test user.
When trying this out it works fine for the cProject part.
For the RPM part we can access the submenues Resource Management, Reports & Analytics and Substitute. We can however not access the submenues Portfolio Management, Item Managtement and Administration. When navigating there the system seem to go into a "loop" looking for the relevant page to display.
The parts we can not access have in common that they use "Proxy Pages". Compare the helptext link
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ppmdc450/helpdata/en/bc/413242c32dec3ae10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
It is however not clear to us what need to be done to fix this.
Any thoughts regarding this?
Thanks / Anders
Hi Anders,
Did you define the navigation settings for the portfolio under
SPRO (IMG) >SAP RPM> Global Customizing --> Process and Services Settings --> Define Navigation
under "map link groups to object context" map portfolio type with object type RIH,RPH to the role RPM_PORT.

Santosh.

Hi Santosh and thanks for the suggestion.
As we are using an IDES system there are existing portfolio created there earlier (by SAP).
To start with we checked the number of navigation links (regardless of object) for the portfolio SAP std portfolio ADM in client 000 and found that to be 48.
We thereafter ensured we had the same links for the portfolio we had set as default (via parameter ID /RPM/PORTFOLIO/ID).
After that we also removed the portfolio defauts hoping that (as described in note 1056552) the type then would be set to ADM and that the portfolio creation page should appear thereafter. This did however not happen.
At the moment we still have the issue that when navigating to one of the RPM submenues which make use of portal proxy pages the system can not find the page and goes into a loop.
Regards / Anders
