Changing the Originals

Hi Friends,

After attaching the originals I want to do changes in that.

Here under I am giving what I know, pls. correct if I am wrong.

For MS office applications I am defining workstation application in network as "%SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.OUTPLACE%" . in this case we can do changes & store in local drive then we can attach a separate originals accordingly.

For PDF / TIF files I am using redlining function thru " EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%".

Is there any other best way?

Hi Sai,

You can use Display as well as Change in both the inplace and outplace, in both cases you retain integration to DIR.Hence,you may choose to go ahead with either of the options for processing your originals.Wont be an issue.

Hi Sai,

You are doing right. This is best practice. I don't think there will be any other method for the same.
