MI client

Hi,

We have done an add in installation in our JAVA stack for MI 7.0. But when we try to download MI client with SICF service ME_FW_INSTALL i am getting the error as:

MOBILEENGINE_AWT:

• No installation file exists yet for selected component.

Please let me know where i am wrong.

Hi Rohan,

Also please check the ME_FW_INSTALL service using TCode : SICF and check if it is activated or not, I feel that it should

be a problem. For more information, please check Page 167 of installation guide under heading Activating BSP Application

ME_FW_INSTALL.

Hi Rohan,

Please upload the client .sca file to the Java Stack using SDM. You can then try to download the client using the BSP link.

Hi Amith,

We already deployed NWMCLIENT.sca file throuh the JSPM. Do we need to do this through SDM?

Am i missing something here? Please let me know.

Hi Rohan,

You can use the Java Support Package Manager (JSPM) to apply support packages on deployed software components. JSPM connects to the SDM server to deploy support packages and software components. The SDM server performs additional validation of the support packages and software components for deployment.

Check if the .sca file has all the clients (AWT / JSP..). Try to deploy the .sca file via SDM to check if this would then be made available for download. The generic convention for BSP link would be http://<host>.wdf.sap.corp:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/me_fw_install/install.htm (convention for the port would be 500xx, where xx is the Java Instance Number)
