RSCC_SCC1_BATCH for automatic distribution of open transports

Hi ,

We are planning to use the RSCC_SCC1_BATCH report to automatically collect and copy all Customizing requests and tasks that were changed after a certain point in time.

Please provide your inputs regarding the above automatic copy of open transports. Let us know if foresee any limitations in the above strategy (as the versioning in ABAP program/ SAP scripts and some of the testing may get effected). We are trying to understand the suitable frequency of the Batch program.

HI,

I have found some live examples such as

1. The transports should be copied to all the clients once they get released: This is required because once the TR is released (assuming itu2019s open transport is already copied to other clients), in that case the final released TR should be copied to all the clients to maintain consistency within clients.

2. Schedule the transport copy batch job so that it does not impact the development. I guess a batch job once a day (during night hours should be okay)

If you have similar possible impacts/limitations on developed objects/ dependant objects, pls share with us on this forum.
