Cheque lot error??

Hi All,

whenever iam creating a manual cheque the following error iam getting.

please guide me to resolve this.

Check number 2170001 is not contained in any lot

Message no. FIBL538

Diagnosis

The check number you entered corresponds to the specified bank account as regards length and structure but is not contained in any check number interval.

Procedure

Check your entry and compare it with the numbers in the system for the above bank account.

I think this check number is not maintained in the lot for the company code, House Bank and Account ID.

Just go and check in the tarnsaction code FCHI for above three combination and if that check number is not maintained then you have to maintained a lot with the interval which contains that 2170001 number so it may be 2170000 to 2179999 (Or as per your bank has given the check leaf numbers but the 2170001 number should be present inside that range).
