Dear all,

My client req is in packing multilevel i.e., 100 books in to one box and again 4 box in to 1 container pls help me to configure this

with respect to production order.

Hello,

This is very much possible with SAP. SAP provides this.

There is transaction POP1.

Here u can create a 2 packing instructions.

In first packing instruction say PI_1 : define 1 pack (P=packing material) contains 100 box(M=material to be packed).

save this packing Instruction PI_1.

Now Create packing instruction PI_2: define 1pallet(P= packing material)

contains 4 box(I= subordinate packing instruction).

so this is alind of nested packing instruction. use this functionality. It will solve your purpose.

steps.

100books in to 1box and again 4 boxes in to 1 container.

1).how do we identify or find in a container what are the boxes & Books available with batch.

2).where do we check the availability of packing materials.

i have a doubt here chandu,

you want to get batch identified against each book or per box.

From SD perspective are you implementing Packing Materials also why i am asking about this because usually PP will take care of packing materials.

noted your string with thx actually my client req is to identify from OBD(out bound delivery) vlo2n the below items

in a container what are the boxes are available and in a box what are books available.
