Query Regarding Deployment Inbox

hi All,

Whenever i deploy a laptop application from NWDS and restart the client i am getting a Screen for installing the application, but when i install the application from the DOE that screen never comes up.

Is it possible to show that screen to the user whenever a new application is installed

Hi Joseph,

There are two ways of Deploying an application.

1. Local Deployment : When deployed from an NWDS, we do get a popup with a" Install Now" button.

Here this is to let the user that a new has been deployed.

2. Server Deployement(sending it from the DOE) : We do not get this popup in this case.

On sync itself in the logs you will have a message that "AppName is getting deployed".

In case 2 i.e. Server Deployment we do not get the popup .

While deploying from the DOE the app is getting installed automatically when the synchronization completes..

Is there any way to stop the deployment and make a user interaction to proceed further

It has to get automatically deployed when synchronisation completes.

There is no way to stop the deployment and make a user interaction to proceed further.
