We are upgrading our GTS system from 7.0 to 8.0. When we process outputs in communications tab, we are getting and error as "Executor/Sender not maintained for CD#xxxxxxxxxxx". We Debuged and found that the system is looking for partner function CUSVER (Consigner). At teh same time the document status is also incomplete.
However this error was not generated in 7.0 even though CUSVER was not maintained.
My question is,
1. Has anybody who has upgraded from 7.0 to 8.0 faced this problem of missing partner function or any similar problem?
2. How is the Incompletion check procedure determined for Customs Declarations and does it effect the partner function check?
Awaiting for any early reply,
Thanks & Regards,
Sam

Hi,
the check depends on the country (legal regulation) for what you are doing the customs declarations because the partner function is mandatory for customs.
To fix your issue check:
IMG
- SAP Global Trade Services
--General Settings
---Partner Structure
-
"Define Groups of Partner Functions"
I Have the following settings in my system:
70 CUSVER Consignor 3 Import/Arrival and Export/Dispatch
For the incompletness check please have a look at:
IMG
- SAP Global Trade Services
--SAP Customs Management
---General Settings
-
Document Structure
-
Control Incompleteness Checks in Customs Shipments and Customs Declarations
hope that helps.
regards,
Ralf

Hi Ralf,
Thanks for your reply. We have already added the CUSVER and then things were alright we undid the config and the issue re-appeared. So we wanted to check how incompletion procedure works and how and where a procedure is assigned to a particular doc type and/or how the system checks the Completion Procedure. Infact we have checked the mentioned path but are not sure which procedure is being triggered and how it is done.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Sam

The incompletion check is assigned to the relevant message type.
The message itself is assigned to the activity in which the customs declaration is at the moment.
Incompletion checks can only be performed, if an unprocessed message is avaialalbe in the customs declaration.
So please check the activity sequence of the process you are in. Then check in which activity you are currently.
Alternatively check the customs declaration and go to communication tab to check, which is the active message at the moment.
Then go to customizing, check the incompletion procedure that is assigned to the message and then follow the path already mentioned to check the invompletion procedure itself.
Best regards, Christin
