Erroe while Posting stock to Scrapp through QA11

Hi Experts,

I am facing error while posting Quality stock to Scrapp through QA11. Its asking about GL accounts etc.

Can you please help me to understand the scrap posting procedure and its effect in Costing etc.

Have you assigned cost center here?

SPRO --> QM --> Basic setting --> Setting at plant level --> Select plant & insp lot completion tab --> Cost Center: Scrap - Assign cost center here. Now check with CO consultant to get cost center for scrapping.

If you do this then it should work.

For this posting movement type 553 GL account not been assigned so system is through this error massage.

And also Check with this hope it will clear

Hi,

When doing a scrapping movement 553 from quality inspection you are confirming that the costs will be incurred internally by the company. Therefore you need to enter a cost center that will incur the costs for the scrapping movement.

Enter the cost center and a reason for the scrapping movement.

If you get an error when trying to post against a cost center then consult with your CO consultant to check whether the cost center has been assigned to a G/L account.

Hi,

Whenever you will post to scrap cost goes to cost center.

Please check with FI CO consultant whther GL account has been assign to cost center or not.
