How to change "Document Date" field for PO ?

I cant modify the "Document Date" field (Header Data tab)for my PO documents =(

Do you know what should I do in order to enable for modifying ?

Hi,

IF its a display field,you can change it to i/p field through modification of the corresponding template.

Hi Disha,

I just changed the template "bbp_poc/99/saplbbp_po_ui_its_3000.html" as you said.

And now the field is always editable, however.. the field's value is not taken for saving =(

- Do I made a mistake modifying the template ?

- Should I modify anything else ?

Hi,

As u said the field was a display field,was it getting populated earlier by some default value????

If so,first you will have to remove that value through modificatons in the std code...then the new value will be considered..

Hi Disha,

Well... my need is that the Purchaser guy should be able to modify the Document date. So, I need to enable the field for editing and save the modified value.

Im not a developer..so.. how can I find which program should I modify ? (I want to save in the PO document the modified value)
