IPC in SRM 7.0

Hi,

I have a doubt with the new IPC version, if I want upgrade from SRM 4.0 to 7.0, about IPC, Do I need to install the java stack?.

Hi,

IPC runs on VMC. You do not need any additional installation. It is part of SAP_BASIS.

Thanks Masa, I think I found the same conclusion. In the new SRM we don't need Java stack, but only activate the VMC.
