Hello experts,
When configurating a CAD which the only attribute is set as role I wonder if the system could recognize the way to set the roles as ZHR*
Is it possible to configure an Approver Determinator for a group/range of roles in order to identify the Approver?
Many thanks in advance!
Marga.
Hi Marga,
In CAD you cannot configure an Approver Determinator for a group/range of roles .
But you can configure multiple approvers like
ZHR_XXX* to approver ABC ,
ZHR_YYY* to approver XYZ.

I am interrested to hear more detail on what Ranjiv is suggesting. Are you saying that you can use pattern matching wildcards in the CAD attribute'
In this case you do not have to list each instance of the role to have it go to the same approver?
Ex
Role Approver Approver
ZPC-XXX* Approver_A Approver_B

Hi Marga,
CAD works if the role is set as ZHR* for all the roles which are starting with the naming convention ZHR......
We have used the above logic and were successful. I am not sure whether the same thing works for ranges also as there is no option which enables to configure the ranges.
Thanks and Best Regards,
