Netweaver Developer Studio: Deploy java application and restart server

Hello,

I'm currently working on a Nakisa java (jsp) based application. We need to modify some files in the application and to deploy it to the server (Netweaver Java AS 7.1CE) and also to regularly restart the J2EE instance.

We just had Netweaver developer studio installed on our workstation (version 8.1 or 7.1, whatever comes with NW 7.1 CE)

I have no experience with this version of NWDS but I have some with the previous versions. with these versions, it was possible to deploy the Java application on a remote WAS and also to remotely restart this instance.

I can't find any of these with the new version, am I missing something? Are these features removed for this NWDS version?

I found the solution.

Plugins need to be installed via Help-Software updates. Add a local server (the preconfigured SAP server doesn't work) and point it to NWDS installation folder.
