Deleting Activity

Hi ,

I was trying to load some data through Import Manager and this process got hanged. I can see this process still running in the activity list becoz of which I am not able to perform any other operation not even unload.I handle this situation by restarting the server.Does anyone has an idea how we can delete any activity?

Hi Neethu,

How many records are you trying to load and processor should not get hang, if you are trying to import more number of records then MDM server will lock all activity till all records get imported so i would suggest wait for sometime till records get imported because if you restart the server then it may crash your repository

Hi Neethu

I agree with Jignesh. |Reduce the number of records in the excel file and import in multiple chunks to avoid memory overload.

Also if you are using joins in import map for joining multiple sheets you can import the main table record in one go and import the qualified tables separately.
