I have an Open Credit memo, with no subsequent documents.I am unable to delete it.

How can I delete the Credit Memo.

Hi,

Credit memo deletion is not possible , however it can be cancelled provided the field cancellation Invoice is filled in Credit Memo Document and the copy controls and number ranges are maintained properly. In SAP Standard - it is S2 document type as a cancellation credit memo.Please check out the needed configuration.

in vofa check your credit memo document here whether cancellation document is assigned or not

it might be S2 and check the number range is maintained for S2 and also document type(accounting) is maintained or not .

Credit memo is just like an invoice. so you need to cancel it with transaction VF11
