how to import and work wth Tuples in SAP MDM 7.1 SP 03
For Importing Tuples: You can import Tuple data along with Main table data. Say a field in main table XYZ which is look up to Tuple table. So during Import Manager, You will get this field in Destination Items as flower sign XYZ, when you just navigate to it to this flower node, just below it you will have all the Tuple member fields which you just need to map with corresponding source fields which will import your main table data along with Tuple data.

A tuple is a record template that groups together a set of related fields into a reusable object or type definition that describes or composes a particular object or type.
