External Def activation error

Hi Experts

I am trying to activate an xsd that has been generated under the external definitions, but it is giving the following error,

Can anyone let me know how to avoid this error and activate the xsd.

DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-913, SQLSTATE=57033, SQLERRMC=00C9008E;00000304;XIXXXZKR.PVSETEL .X'000761' '.X'2A', DRIVER=3.58.91

That error is a deadlock or timeout in the database. I would suggest:

1.Try the activation again, preferably at a time when the system isn't too busy.

If it still fails:

2. Try restarting the PI instance (including the database), then try the activation again.

If that fails, have your BASIS admin investigate to make sure there are no problems in the database (tablespace full, etc.)

Hi ,

How do you imported this XSD?? from Data base direclty using DB tab in External Def?? or it is independent XSD??

if you impoerting from Data base,first you need to import succesfull then save and activate it?? but the error coming when you trying to import table in Extern Def.
